Job summary
Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced CEI Leader for Austin and Midland, TX to advance our Construction Services practice. You will direct inspection teams, coordinate DOT/municipal projects, and mentor staff while growing client relationships across Central Texas.
The role offers ownership opportunities within a growing, employee‑owned firm. You will lead budgets, schedules, and technical scope, delivering safe, high‑quality transportation solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or ABET accredited equivalent
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- 10+ years of experience managing inspection and testing teams and projects for DOT/municipal clients
- Strong knowledge of inspection methods, materials, safety and project delivery
Responsibilities
- Lead CEI teams in Austin and Midland, TX and grow Construction Services practice
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project administrators and inspectors
- Oversee CEI senior project engineer duties, project budgets, schedules, and client interaction
- Pursue CEI opportunities with local government and TxDOT; ensure safety and quality leadership
