Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Civil Engineering, Public Policy, Transportation Economics or a related area.
• 15+ years of industry-related experience.
• 8+ years of experience managing projects and leading proposals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong and effective communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
• A strong professional network in the transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or tasks in practice areas including safety; corridor planning; long-range planning; asset, performance, and risk management; and resilience and sustainability.
• Develop collaborative relationships with public agency clients across Texas and identify future policy opportunities.
• Lead teaming negotiations with other consulting firms as part of marketing efforts.
• Train, manage, and mentor junior staff and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure work products are delivered on-time and within budget.
