Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in Mineral Wells, Texas, seeks an Associate Avionics Systems Engineer to design, develop and integrate complete aircraft avionics systems.

You will work with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions meeting safety, quality and certification requirements, and you will participate in ground and flight testing and system safety assessments. This on-site role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires hands-on engineering in a fast-paced aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (Systems/Software/Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Aerospace).
• Minimum three years of avionics experience and related technical professional experience.
• Understanding of avionics systems engineering principles, design and development processes.
• Knowledge of FAA and other certification processes.
• Understanding of system safety assessment processes.
• Strong knowledge of requirements management tools.
• Ability to perform engineering work in ground and flight testing.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, integrate and analyze complete aircraft avionics systems.
• Support new and legacy product lines and customer-driven design modifications.
• Coordinate avionics system integration, ground and flight testing, safety assessments, and certification activities.
• Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, manufacturability and certification requirements.
