Job summary

Nacho Mama's in St. Louis, a Tex-Mex favorite since 1994, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to guide front- and back-of-house teams and keep daily operations smooth.

In this role you will hire, train, schedule staff, manage inventory and costs, and uphold health and safety standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in restaurant leadership roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in Tex-Mex, fast-casual or full-service restaurants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Staff Management: Hire, train, and schedule front- and back-of-house staff to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory, and cost control.
• Customer Experience: Deliver exceptional guest service, address inquiries and feedback, ensure high-quality service.
• Inventory & Cost Control: Maintain stock levels, oversee ordering, stock rotation, and waste control; track labor and food costs.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure food safety, sanitation standards, and staff training are up-to-date; maintain a clean, compliant environment.
