Job summary

StraitSys Inc is seeking a Testing Engineer to provide software testing and quality validation for EOIR modernization efforts. You will develop and execute test cases, validate functionality, and collaborate with analysts, SMEs, and developers to ensure requirements are met.

The role covers functional, integration, system, regression, accessibility, and UAT testing across lifecycle stages. Government-facing experience is a plus; position contingent on award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and testing experience.
• Experience testing enterprise applications and modernization initiatives.
• Experience with requirements-based testing and traceability.
• Ability to document, manage, retest, and close defects.
• Familiarity with manual and automated testing approaches.
• Experience with web/cloud platforms and APIs is a plus.
• Security/Government testing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate requirements, acceptance criteria, and business rules.
• Collaborate with analysts, SMEs, and developers to clarify outcomes.
• Trace requirements to tests and ensure coverage.
• Test interfaces, data exchanges, and migrations as needed.
• Document results, collect evidence, and maintain records.
• Identify and track defects, reproduce steps, and support RCA.
• Retest and perform regression testing after fixes.
• Support testing across environments and UAT activities.
