Job summary

StraitSys Inc. is seeking a Lead Tester to oversee testing and quality validation for EOIR enterprise modernization efforts in Falls Church, VA.

You will develop and manage the overall testing strategy, coordinate activities across teams, ensure traceability to requirements, and guide defect management and readiness assessments. The role requires strong leadership, experience with functional/integration/system/user acceptance testing, and familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps, Azure DevOps or Jira,

Qualifications

Experience leading software testing for enterprise modernization or digital transformation.
Ability to develop and manage test strategies, plans, and schedules.
Experience guiding defect triage and resolution across multiple teams.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar test-management tools.
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility testing.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of testing activities across the lifecycle.
Define test approaches for functional, integration, system, regression, UAT.
Coordinate testing across components, environments, releases.
Provide technical direction to Testing Engineers and other personnel.
Monitor testing progress, coverage, defect trends, and risks.
Oversee defect management and closure.
Support production readiness and post-deployment validation.
