Job summary

The College of Southern Maryland (CSM) is seeking a Testing Center Supervisor to oversee daily operations, proctor exams, and coordinate testing services across multiple programs.

Under supervision of the Testing Center Manager, you will manage scheduling, training, confidentiality, and reporting, ensuring accessibility and academic integrity.

Candidates should have an Associate’s degree and two years of testing center experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Two years of experience in a college Testing Center or test administration.
• Proficient with standard computer use.
• Experience directing others, multitasking, and working autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Proctors exams during high volume testing, emergencies, or staff shortages.
• Administers correspondence tests on behalf of students taking courses through other colleges and/or universities.
• Administers placement tests and inputs scores into Colleague as needed.
• Administers certification tests through vendors such as Pearson Vue, Meazure Learning and ensures adherence to policies.
• Monitors the testing center via cameras and walk-throughs, ensuring academic integrity.
• Administers CSM course tests and adheres to instructor instructions.
• Performs online testing for ALEKS and reviews remote testing sessions (Examity/ProctorU).
• Assists with coverage at other campuses and supervises Testing Center staff.
