Job summary

ESPEC North America (ENA) is seeking a Utility Worker for the Test Department. You will support environmental chamber testing in a clean environment with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package. The role features a 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule, Monday through Thursday with some Friday overtime; no mandatory weekend work.

Salary ranges from $20.42 to $21.91 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, ability to read a tape

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure is required.
  • Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide) are required.
  • Reading schematics is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans and prepares chambers for shipment using designated cleaning solutions.
  • Connects and disconnects water and electrical utilities to chambers.
  • Safely loads and unloads chambers.
  • Uses hand tools to perform tasks (screwdrivers, wrenches, drills).
  • Maintains clean and organized work area and equipment.
  • Performs monthly routine maintenance of the test area.
  • Provides support to technicians as needed.
  • Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Exciting news! We're looking for a Utility Worker to join our Test Department. 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with some Friday OT required.

Summary

Supports the department by providing assistance with testing procedures for environmental chambers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Cleans and prepares chambers for shipment using designated cleaning solutions (alcohol, 6% vinegar, RO water, wash thinner).
  • Connects and disconnects water and electrical utilities to environmental chambers.
  • Safely loads and unloads chambers.
  • Daily use of hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, drills, and tape measures, to perform assigned tasks.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area, including machines, tools, and equipment, through weekly cleaning procedures.
  • Conducts monthly routine maintenance of the test area.
  • Provides support to technicians as needed.
  • Performs other routine duties as assigned.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.

Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Skills And Experience
  • Ability to read a tape measure required.

  • Ability to read schematics preferred.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
