Job summary

ESPEC North America is looking for an Assembler in Hudsonville, Michigan. In this role, you will assist in the final assembly of environmental test chambers while benefiting from a 4-day work week, a clean work environment, and opportunities for advancement.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and some familiarity with hand tools. A strong work ethic and ability to solve problems will be essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend multiple-step instructions (in English).
  • Previous experience working with hand tools is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience with industrial manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Daily use of hand tools such as drills and wrenches.
  • Perform basic pipe insulation.
  • Clean work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

Working Schedule

6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with some Friday OT required.

Summary

Assists the department to perform final assembly of environmental test chambers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Daily use of hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and knives.
  • Performs basic pipe insulation.
  • May perform brazing duties, only after on‑site training has been provided.
  • Bends and runs conduit, cuts wire.
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.
  • Understands and abides by the Guiding Principles.
  • Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Education
