Job summary

ESPEC North America, Inc. is hiring an Assembler for the Standard Final Assembly Department. This role offers a 4-day work week with some overtime on Friday, no mandatory weekend work, and opportunities for advancement in a clean, controlled environment.

Hours are full-time, 6:00am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday. You will mount and wire assemblies, read prints and schematics, use hand and power tools, and support quality manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Experience with electrical wiring and schematics.
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Mounts and wires assemblies.
  • Calculates box and conduit fill.
  • Uses standard work instructions to complete assemblies.
  • Understands ladder schematics and builds per prints.
  • Follows part numbers, locations, and descriptions.
  • Regular use of hand and power tools.
  • Reads a tape measure frequently.
  • May perform brazing after on-site training.
  • Produces clean, organized work area; attends regularly.

We are currently hiring an Assembler for our Standard Final Assembly Department. Hours: Full-time, 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, some Friday OT.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Mounts and wires assemblies.
  • Calculates box and conduit fill.
  • Utilizes standard work instructions to complete assemblies.
  • Understands ladder schematics and builds according to prints.
  • Understands part numbers, locations, and descriptions.
  • Daily use of hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and knives.
  • Frequently reads a tape measure.
  • Cuts wire, runs seal tight.
  • May perform brazing duties, only after on-site training has been provided.
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.
  • Understands and abides by the Guiding Principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Skills and Experience
  • Computer skills, including the use of tablet, required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure required.
  • Ability to use small hand tools and power tools required.
  • Experience with electrical wiring required.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics required.
  • Ability to build using electrical, plumbing, & fabrication drawings, required.
  • 1 year of experience with industrial manufacturing preferred.
