Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a technically skilled individual to perform pre-testing of new products and support Factory Acceptance Testing at the Houston facility.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, precise documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders to drive quality improvements. You will maintain testing records, ensure regulatory compliance, and work onsite at the Systems Integration Unit in Houston.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Analytical Instrumentation Technology degree is a plus.
• Experience with analyzers or sample systems preferred; electrical systems checkout is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure quality.
• Assisting with checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
• Inspecting and troubleshooting issues, determining root causes, implementing corrective actions.
• Maintaining accurate testing records and documentation in compliance with quality systems.
