The ideal candidate will perform a variety of product tests at our McKinney, TX location using detailed work instructions, test procedures, and engineering documents to test and troubleshoot technologically advanced parts/products.Duties will include set up and operation of testing equipment, troubleshooting, documenting test results, and physical movement of materials on to and off of testing platforms.The successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of initiative, strong work ethic, function well under pressure, and maintain a success-oriented attitude while working with diverse teams.

What You Will Do

• Inspecting, maintaining, and calibrating avionics equipment, SE, and aircraft components.

• Repairing EW systems, sensor systems and components, wiring harnesses and interconnecting cables.

• Repairing amplifier and logic circuits; microwave equipment; servomechanisms; radio frequency circuits; video displays; and power supply circuits.

• Experience working with rectifiers and controllers circuitry.

• Troubleshot power supply modules and I/O modules to component level by replacing various chips and components that have high fault rate

• Experience with using schematics and drawing to troubleshoot electronic circuits

• Looked BOM’s to identify failed components, ordered parts and maintained stock

• Understanding and be able to perform ERP systems (SAP/ETS/Microsoft Access)

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline

• Experience as a Test Technician

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
