Test Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: McKinney, TX

Job ID: #70711

Pay Range: $23-27

Shift Hours: 2PM - 11PM

This role supports acceptance testing functions on production and development/prototype products. The successful candidate will perform a variety of testing tasks in a manufacturing environment on 2nd shift, working directly with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Problem-solving and proactively identifying solutions to technical challenges.
2. Fault isolation and assisting in resolving issues with test environments and devices under test.
3. Observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.
4. Selecting and setting up appropriate test equipment based on specifications.
5. Interpreting test data to determine pass/fail conditions and conducting further analysis if needed.
6. Using hand tools, torque tools, analyzers, and power tools.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to obtain clearance on a proprietary program; U.S. citizenship required.
2. Experience in a classified or proprietary program environment preferred.
3. Typically an AA/AS degree with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
4. Experience with VM, CMES, SAP, or other manufacturing databases and tools.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MATLAB, programming, and basic computer programs.
6. Experience performing product tests using procedures, manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Minimum 2 years of testing experience; STEM education may substitute work experience.
2. Experience with oscilloscopes, pulse generators, analyzers, signal generators, multimeters, and other test assets.
3. Hands-on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection in manufacturing, aviation, or naval environments.
