Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Tester II - 1st Shift at our Irvine, CA facility to perform bench testing of a diversified line of parts, subassemblies and completed units following established procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a minimum of three years in Fuel, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic testing, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Hours are 5:30 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years in Fuel, Hydraulic and/or Pneumatic Testing.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA; relocation not provided.
• Export-controlled information access requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench testing of parts, subassemblies and units following procedures.
• Build/fabricate setups on simple test systems.
• Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges and record results.
• Follow safety requirements and 5S standards.
• Perform Lean Initiatives including Continuous Improvement.
• Lead and interpret blueprints & schematics.
