Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Tester II - 2nd Shift in Irvine, CA. The role pays $25.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, with hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. You will bench test a diverse range of parts and assemblies following established procedures.

You will setup test systems, connect products to equipment, record results, and uphold 5S, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Benefits include PTO, 401(k) with company match, medical/dental/vision, and Paid Parental Leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in Fuel, Hydraulic or Pneumatic Testing.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA; relocation not offered.
• U.S. person for export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Perform bench testing of a diversified line of parts, subassemblies and completed units.
• Build/fabricate own setup operations on less complicated test systems.
• Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges and meters, verify and record results.
• Follow safety requirements and 5S standards in the work area.
• Lead Lean Initiatives and interpret blueprints/schematics.
• Ensure compliance with department safety objectives.
