Job summary

RTX is an aerospace and defense company contractor seeking a skilled maintenance technician onsite in Utah. You will maintain and repair facilities, operate forklifts and other equipment, load and unload rocket motors, and support test infrastructure.

Candidates should have trade or technical experience, HS Diploma or AA/AS degree, and ability to multitask. The role includes comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Position Role Type: Onsite U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Maintain and repair facilities including water lines, buildings, etc.
• Operating equipment such as forklifts, backhoes, and road graders
• Loading and unloading rocket motors from test sleds
• Cleaning and maintaining test track
• Support building, maintaining and upgrading test equipment and fixtures

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

• Experience in a trade, facility maintenance, mechanical or aerospace repairs and maintenance
• Experience with office computer software packages
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with organizing and multi-tasking
• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

QUALIFATIONS WE PREFER:

• Experience operating heavy equipment, including rough terrain cranes
• Mechanical training or experience repairing vehicles and/or equipment
• Experience with fabrication via welding or machining
• Experience working in R&D, test environments or with ejection seats

The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
