Job summary

HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm is seeking a Test Technician for a 12-month contract at its Elma, NY facility, to perform environmental and functional testing on precision components and assemblies.

You will set up and operate test equipment, troubleshoot failures, record data to specifications, and support engineering with calibration and maintenance, all while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment or machinery.
• Experience with testing in a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial setting.
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic measurement/diagnostic instruments.
• Ability to read and follow technical procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Reliable on-site attendance in Elma, NY.

A leading aerospace and industrial manufacturer is seeking a Test Technician for a 12-month contract at its Elma, NY facility. You will execute environmental and functional testing on precision components and assemblies, troubleshoot equipment issues, and document results to engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor test equipment for environmental and functional testing (temperature, vibration, altitude, and related profiles)

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with test equipment, machinery, and units under test

Use hand tools and precision instruments to assemble, disassemble, and adjust test articles and fixtures

Follow written test procedures, safety protocols, and quality documentation requirements

Requirements
