Cartridge Actuated Devices is seeking a capable test engineer to conduct and document R&D testing and ensure compliance with quality standards. The role requires strong analytical skills, meticulous records management, and the ability to work with oscilloscope and related test equipment.
Responsibilities include setting up test apparatus, analyzing data, and reporting results, while maintaining confidentiality and representing the company positively.
Conducts Product and R&D testing.
Set up test apparatus and conduct and document test of product following established methods, procedures, standards and sequences to confirm compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
The employee is regularly exposed to hazardous chemicals, high pressures and temperatures, high decibel noise, explosive materials, and explosive devices while using appropriate test procedures and personal protective equipment.
Performs related duties as assigned or required . Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Required: Minimum 5 years relevant experience. Ability to read, understand and execute test procedures. Use of oscilloscope, and associated test equipment is essential. Knowledge of mechanical systems and hardware, computer hardware and software, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Good mechanical skills and dexterity. Must be able to pass an ATF "Responsible Party" background check..
Preferred: Background in Electrical/Mechanical testing environment.
