Temporary Testing Technician

Our Westchester based client is growing and seeking to hire a Temporary Testing Technician.

The Equipment Testing Technician will perform basic administrative and clerical functions to ensure that orders are properly entered in a timely and accurate manner. This position will also provide support to the Project Management team with preparing and compiling change orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive testing on a variety of machines/equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Execute both routine and non‑routine testing procedures to identify and resolve performance issues.
• Adhere to quality control processes to guarantee the reliability and safety of machines/equipment.
• Document testing results, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
• Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear and concise reports on testing outcomes and equipment status.

Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field (e.g., electronics, engineering, or similar) preferred.
• 1+ year experience as an Equipment Testing Technician or similar role in a manufacturing and/or assembly environment.
• Familiarity with a variety of testing tools and equipment.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in using testing instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power analyzers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of creating clear and concise reports and documentation.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Hourly $19 - $22 depending on experience.
