Ultimate Staffing client seeks a motivated Engineering Technician to join the team in Manchester, NH. This hands-on role focuses on building, testing, and troubleshooting electronic components in a technical environment.

The position offers a permanent opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00am–3:30pm, and a salary range of $49,920–$54,080 per year. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable with reading blueprints, using tools, and maintaining

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, production, technical support, or related environment preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Intermediate math skills and comfort with measurements/specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for small components and tools.
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build, assemble, and test electronic components following engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly and testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair components under the direction of engineering staff.
  • Perform testing using standard equipment and document results accurately.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to support engineering projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, tracking, and maintaining materials and parts.
  • Document testing procedures, equipment information, and specifications.
  • Build and modify prototypes from sketches, drawings, and engineering concepts.
  • Support additional engineering and production projects as needed.
