Job summary

RapinnoTech - APAC & USA is seeking a hands-on hardware test engineer to validate PC/server systems in a dedicated lab. You will execute test plans, troubleshoot across hardware and software, and summarize results for engineering teams.

The role requires experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware, Unix/Linux environments, and basic scripting. Strong documentation and independent work in a lab setting are essential.

Job description

• Hands-on experience building, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PC/server-based hardware systems.
• Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware, storage platforms, or system-level test environments.
• Ability to execute test plans, follow written procedures, and summarize results accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, firmware, connectivity, and system setup issues.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command-line environments.
• Basic scripting experience in Shell or Python is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, reporting, and data organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently using technical documentation and defined procedures.
• Comfortable performing hands-on, repetitive, detail-oriented lab activities with consistency and quality.
• Prior experience in an SSD, storage, firmware validation, hardware validation, or engineering lab environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with automation, diagnostic tools, log collection, or analyzer tools is a plus.
