Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Test Technician in St. Paul, MN for a first-shift role (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday–Friday). The position pays $21.00 to $23.00 per hour and involves testing electronic components and assemblies using automated equipment.

Responsibilities include documenting findings, possibly assembling electromechanical subassemblies, and reading engineering drawings and procedures. Candidates should have strong record-keeping and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic assembly and test in a medical device industry preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalency is required
• 2 or more years’ experience with electromechanical assemblies/electronic manufacturing, technical certifications, etc.

• Performs testing of electronic components and assemblies using automated test equipment
• Documents findings of investigation in a readable timeless format
• May perform mechanical assembly of electromechanical subassemblies and devices
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, schematics and complex test procedures
• Maintains accurate records to ensure Device History Records and quality documents are accurate
• Participates in continuous improvement/quality initiatives to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metrics
• Prioritizes work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance

• Maintains accurate records to ensure Device History Records and quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products

• Positively represents the company during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate information.
