Job summary

eTeam in Fargo, ND seeks a Test Technician for a 12-month, on-site assignment. 2nd shift 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, Mon-Fri; pay rate $30-$33/hr on W-2 without benefits.

Responsibilities include supporting production, troubleshooting electronics, building and debugging test systems, and rotating cross-training opportunities. Requires AS in Electronics or two-year technical diploma, and 1 year of related electronics/manufacturing experience; candidates with 3+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum of electronics/manufacturing/engineering experience required.
• Hands-on troubleshooting to identify root cause.
• Experience with test systems and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate line support to the production floor.
• Troubleshoot electronics to identify root causes, using meters and scopes.
• Collaborate with test engineers to build, modify and debug test systems and equipment.
• Potential for flexible hours during cross training; heavy standing and movement.

Duration: 12 Months

Shift: 2nd shift 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Pay Rate: $30 - 33/hr. on w2 without benefits

Job Description

Driving personal vehicle between Client locations will be required under 15% of the time.

Client facilities are within 5 miles of each other.

ASTM approved safety shoes with internal metatarsal protection required.

Provide intermediate line support to the production floor.

Perform intermediate level troubleshooting by utilizing technical knowledge and interdepartmental contacts.

Work with test engineers to build, modify and debug test systems and related equipment.

Potential to flex hours for cross training.

Majority of role is done standing and moving throughout the facility.

Required Education

• A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering is required; 3 or more years of related experience is preferred.

Required skills and Abilities

• Understanding of electronics, multi-meter, oscilloscopes, electrical schematics, and circuit boards.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting to identify root cause.
• This position is more geared towards electronics maintenance vs machinery/motors.
• Computer (working software/program knowledge) and communications skills are necessary.
• Should be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain lab equipment and perform basic mechanical work.
