Job Summary

Reporting to the Lead Technician, the Test Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment at our Bedford facility.

Main Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment using electronic theory and testing procedures
• Perform functional, operational, and environmental tests
• Read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and manuals
• Conduct troubleshooting and failure analysis, document results
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment
• Design fixtures and jigs as needed
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient workflow
• Analyze test data to determine product acceptability
• Suggest process improvements

Requirements

• Electronics Technician Diploma or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience in electronics manufacturing
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic systems
• Experience reading schematics and specs
• Manual dexterity and technical skills
• Data analysis skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects
• Basic design and troubleshooting skills
• Effective time management and teamwork skills
