ACDi (American-Computer-Development, Inc) is seeking a Test Technician to perform electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting in support of production projects. You will work from customer specifications and documentation to assemble, test, and diagnose electronics assemblies.

The role requires reading schematics and assembly drawings, using standard test equipment, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AA degree in a technical field preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in a Test Technician role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies per specs and docs.
• Test and troubleshoot using DMM, oscilloscope, and frequency counter.
• Review procedures and BOMs to ensure proper builds.
• Prepare and file manufacturing documentation.
• X-ray PCBA to diagnose issues.

This individual will assemble, test and troubleshoot various electro-mechanical assemblies based on customer specifications and documentation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Use small hand tools (including but not limited to; screw driver, tweezers, pliers, etc.) to complete box builds, cable/wire assembles and PCB assembliesUse the computer to complete shop move logs and review work instructions and standard operating proceduresUse documentation such as test procedures, bill-of-materials (BOM), assembly drawings, schematics and part specifications to test and troubleshoot a variety of electronic equipmentAbility to troubleshoot at the component levelUse a variety of electronic test equipment; such as DMM, oscilloscope, and frequency counter to test and troubleshoot a variety of electronic assemblies.Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pickEnsure manufacturing time requirements are metX-ray PCBA to help diagnose issuesOther duties may be assigned including, but not limited to, packing, boxing and labeling of finished product, inspection of mechanical assemblies, through hole assemblies and some solderingSPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
