Job summary

ACDi in Maryland designs and manufactures complex electronic systems. The Plant Manufacturing Operations Manager leads assembly, test, SMT, stockroom, shipping, and receiving to meet delivery schedules and quality standards.

You will direct production, analyze performance data, and optimize processes to reduce costs. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing, knowledge of MRP/ERP, IPC/AS9100/ISO9001, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001.
  • AS9100D/ISO 9001 experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication; MS Office proficiency.
  • Cost containment focus and production budgeting ability.

Responsibilities

  • Direct overall activities of manufacturing facility to meet customer needs and on‑time shipments.
  • Provide production insight by analyzing performance data and schedules.
  • Assign daily and weekly tasks to production personnel.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes.
  • Manage production schedules and staffing for optimum results.
  • Lead, motivate and develop production staff; enforce SOPs.
  • Recommend equipment purchases and plant improvements.
