Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Test Systems Engineer II to design and document Test Environments and subsystem models. You will work with multiple engineering teams to ensure robust testing from component to All-Up-Round, applying Model Based System Engineering tools and techniques.

The role requires a systems-thinking approach, collaboration with SMEs, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. It is 100% onsite at our Tucson location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in STEM with two years related engineering exp.
• Systems engineering approach for test activities throughout product lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define and document Test Environment capabilities and requirements.
• Develop subsystem models using MBSE tools and methods.
• Communicate test equipment needs to designers and manage traceability.
• Leverage reuse of environment requirements to improve test design.
• Create subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture.
• Collaborate with SMEs to resolve issues and support trades.
