Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Systems Engineer II to join the Tucson, AZ team. You will work with multiple engineering groups to define and document Test Environment capabilities, derive requirements, and support system-level test activities across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a STEM degree, 2+ years of related engineering experience, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. You will apply MBSE methods, collaborate with SMEs, and contribute to reusable test designs and traceability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 2+ years of related engineering experience (or a STEM Master’s in lieu of experience).
• Demonstrated systems engineering experience in test requirements development and test planning, techniques, methodologies and verification/validation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Apply subsystem knowledge to model and develop the subsystem using Model Based System Engineering tools.
• Detail capabilities and derive requirements.
• Communicate test equipment needs and requirements to designers.
• Manage requirements and ensure traceability throughout the lifecycle.
• Promote reuse of Test Environment requirements to improve efficiency in test design.
• Develop subsystem requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and architecture.
