Job summary

VTG seeks a Test Systems Engineer in Springfield, VA to perform applications, system and integration testing across NSG/ASG and federal agencies. You will work in DevOps pipelines, executing manual and automated tests, and contribute to government-standard QA practices.

Mid-level candidate with 6–12 years' experience, a TS/SCI with Poly, and a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field will thrive in a collaborative environment supporting DoD programs. Master’s degree and cloud/DevOps tooling are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related STEM field.
• 6–12 years of mid-level test/integration experience in government or industry.
• US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps and testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Performs test and evaluation across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies.
• Tests applications and APIs in DevOps pipelines with QA measures.
• Independent integration testing of system software/hardware to verify requirements.
• Plans and executes manual tests and automated test scripts.
• Supports defect investigations and issue tracking during test activities.
