Job summary

VTG seeks a Senior Test Systems Engineer in Springfield, VA to lead testing across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies. You will guide mid-level and junior engineers, and perform API and integration testing in DevOps pipelines, aligning with government QA standards.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with Poly, a strong background in large System of Systems, and 12–18 years of related experience. Bachelor’s or higher in a STEM field is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, MIS, or related STEM degree program.
• Senior-level systems integration experience in government or industry with large complex System of Systems or SOA in cloud/on-prem/hybrid.
• 12-18 years of experience.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience with traditional, Agile, and DevOps testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Guides mid-level and junior-level system engineers in test and evaluation across NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies.
• Performs testing of applications and APIs in DevOps pipelines using QA measures.
• Performs independent integration testing to verify system requirements.
• Plans and executes manual tests and automated scripts.
