Job summary
Lockheed Martin Radar and Mission Systems (RMS) in Syracuse, NY, is seeking a Test Station Design Engineer to own the complete lifecycle (design, build, integration, validation) of automated test environments for RF, Digital, Analog, and Power systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust test solutions for world-class radar technology.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, strong test hardware, automation, and LabVIEW experience, plus ability to
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
- Extensive knowledge of test solution hardware development, cable design, component obsolescence replacement and system/test.
- Experience with commercial test equipment including signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters.
- Test automation design and measurement experience.
Responsibilities
- Design automated test programs and bench-top tests for radar technology.
- Develop custom test solution hardware and cable designs.
- Present design documentation for customer reviews with cross-functional teams.
- Solve obsolescence challenges to keep testing infrastructure current.
