Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation is seeking a Test Services Lead to oversee the EMI/EMC test lab, coordinating a team of 1 administrator and 2 test engineers. You will drive shielding effectiveness tests on materials and EMI compliance testing for military and medical devices to MIL-STD-461, DO-160 and IEC61000 standards.

The role reports to the Engineering Manager and requires strong technical interpretation of test data and recommendations for EMI packaging, mechanical and electrical design, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• EMI/EMC testing and analysis experience.
• 2+ years supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Mange several direct reports
• Performs EMI/EMC Testing for the Divisions military and commercial customers.
• Performs Shielding Effectiveness and custom material parameters tests for Division R&D, Applications, and customers.
• Interpret results of EMI tests to be able to make recommendations to customers to solve test failures. The recommendations will include modifications for radiated and conducted emission and immunity problems where Engineering level work is required.
• Prepare, modify, and review EMI test reports, plans and data for customers.
• Works with Divisions R&D team to test new and existing EMI and Thermal material for electric properties.
• Control the calibration system for Test Service Department
• Participates in Quality Control program of Test Service Department
• Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Use appropriate PPE for designated area.
