Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced EMI/EMC Test Engineer to join the Air Dominance & Strike Electrical Engineering team. You will design, test, and validate EMI/EMC solutions for defense electronics, ensuring compliance with military standards.

The role requires 3+ years in EMI/EMC design and testing within military/aerospace; proficiency with ANSYS/CST and test equipment; and the ability to read schematics, perform field tests, and obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EMI/EMC design and testing in military/aerospace/avionics.
• Familiar with MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D, RTCA DO-160, SAE.
• Experience with E3 design principles, HERO/HEMP, Lightning, ESD and RF exposure limits.
• Proficient with EMI testing equipment and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI/EMC testing and analysis on complex systems and components.
• Drive product maturity with rapid prototyping and verification activities.
• Innovate design strategies to mitigate EMI/EMC issues at their root.
• Create test plans and comprehensive documentation for compliance.
• Collaborate with product design teams to embed EMC requirements early.
• Identify EMI/EMC risks and define mitigation approaches.
• Maintain familiarity with MIL-STD-461G, MIL-STD-464D, RTCA DO-160, SAE.
• Conduct field tests and evaluate performance in real environments.
• Manage multiple projects and meet aggressive deadlines.
