Moraine Valley Community College is seeking tutors to support students through one-to-one and small-group sessions, in line with the college’s tutoring philosophy. Successful candidates pursue CRLA certification and bring flexibility to in-person tutoring with online capabilities.
Tutors will coordinate with staff and other tutors, help with scheduling and data collection, and may lead small workshops or audit classes as needed in a collaborative campus environment.

Tutors must be sensitive to the needs of students at all levels. Being able to coordinate efforts with other tutors/staff is a must, along with having an excellent work ethic. Tutors must be willing to work in-person via college guidelines, and online tutoring skills are expected. Specialty in Biology needed, along with some knowledge of A & P, Chemistry preferred; ability to coordinate efforts with specialists and faculty.
