Test Proctors play an important role in supporting students and ensuring a smooth and successful testing experience. Working under the direction of the Testing Coordinator, Test Proctors help maintain a secure, organized, and appropriate testing environment. Responsibilities include:

• Supervise students during state, national, and district assessments while maintaining a quiet, orderly, and appropriate testing environment.
• Administer assessments in accordance with established testing procedures, schedules, and standardized testing protocols.
• Verify student attendance and ensure students are seated and prepared according to testing requirements.
• Distribute, collect, and safeguard testing materials while maintaining test security and confidentiality at all times.
• Monitor students throughout testing to ensure compliance with testing rules and address procedural questions as permitted.
• Accurately complete required testing documentation and promptly report testing irregularities or concerns to the designated testing coordinator.
• Provide appropriate assistance and accommodations to students as directed by the Testing Coordinator and individual testing requirements.
• Perform other testing-related duties as assigned to support the successful administration of assessments.
