Job summary

Glenbrook South High School in Glenview, IL, seeks internal applicants to co-sponsor the Onward House Student Tutoring Club for the 2026-2027 school year. On Tuesdays after school, sponsors accompany GBS student tutors to the Onward House Community Center in Chicago’s Belmont-Cragin neighborhood to help tutor grade-school students throughout the school year.

Glenbrook South High School is seeking internal applicants to co-sponsor the Onward House Student Tutoring Club for the 2026-2027 school year.

On Tuesdays after school, the two sponsors accompany GBS student tutors to the Onward House Community Center in Chicago’s Belmont-Cragin neighborhood to help tutor grade-school students throughout the school year. Additionally, the sponsors assist the student club officers with the management of fundraising efforts and the implementation of new ideas to best support the club moving forward. The co-sponsor drives the school's 14-passenger van. Conversational Spanish language skills are valuable when working with students at Onward Neighborhood House.

The 1.0 (annual) stipend for this position is based on District 225's Discretionary stipend amount of $2,239.24. To learn more about D225's compensation and benefits package, please visit our website. This position is not eligible for benefits.
