Job summary

Electric Boat seeks a Test Procedure Writer/Engineer to draft, review, and maintain step-by-step technical test procedures for IPS compatibility tests at the Philadelphia facility, interfacing with Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, and Software teams.

You will translate complex engineering requirements into actionable manuals, perform validations with technicians, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience in hardware, manufacturing, software, or highly regulated testing.
• Demonstrated track record of writing high-consequence technical manuals and test scripts.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance with the Dept of Defense.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and maintain step-by-step technical test procedures mapped to engineering specifications.
• Interpret ERDs and PRDs to identify testable conditions and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Systems, Design, Electrical, and Software Engineers to document inputs and test environments.
• Validate procedures through walkthroughs with technicians for accuracy, flow and safety.
