Job summary

Elevate Semiconductor is seeking a Test Operator to support production and prototype testing of semiconductor test systems. You will work with Planning, Operations, and Engineering to ensure quality and on-time delivery for customers.

The role requires manual testing of chips, calibration, and data logging, with a focus on accuracy and process discipline in a late-night shift schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Availability to work onsite Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to handle small electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Hand testing chips manually to product specifications from production trays using hand vacuums.
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance on testers, motherboards, and load boards; diagnose and debug issues.
• Diagnose and debug manual tester/setup issues and document repairs.
• Manage and maintain sockets to ensure correct performance.
• Record test outcomes accurately using Nextest System UI and automation software.
• Comply with corporate and ISO standards and pursue continuous test improvements.

As a full-time Test Operator, you will support our production and prototype testing efforts by operating semiconductor test systems, ensuring accurate and efficient test execution to meet customer delivery schedules. You will work closely with Planning, Operations, and Engineering teams to uphold product quality and on-time performance.

Schedule Requirement: This role is scheduled for Monday through Friday, 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM, and candidates must be able to commit to these hours.

Responsibilities

• Hand testing chips manually to product specifications, from production trays, using hand vacuums to move product between product trays and the test heads
• Perform routine calibration and maintenance on testers, motherboards, and load boards; requires diagnosis and debugging at times
• Diagnosing/Debugging Manual Tester/Setup issues and providing standard documentation for repair
• Managing and maintaining sockets for them to perform correctly
• Entering proper lot information when starting Nextest System user interface, accurately record test outcome data into automation software
• Complying with both corporate and ISO standards, drive for continuous improvement in test

This position pays $23.00 per hour with final compensation determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and overall interview performance.
