Job summary

Rolls-Royce plc in Indianapolis is seeking a LibertyWorks Performance Engineering Specialist to join our defenses-focused team. You will design, simulate, and verify engines and power systems at a whole-system level, building thermodynamic cycle models and analyzing attributes against goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or related field.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Graduating between December 2026 and August 2027 is acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sub-system teams to develop thermodynamic cycle models for engines/power systems.
  • Perform thermodynamic cycle analysis using computer simulation to meet system requirements.
  • Communicate predictions and analyses of product attributes at the whole-system level.
  • Support system-level verification and validation testing.
  • Publish technical reports and present engineering results to stakeholders.
