Job summary

ITC, Inc. in Peoria, IL is seeking a Test Manufacturing Engineer Technician to support Test Manufacturing Engineers with daily production tasks in the LPSD transmission assembly facility.

You will collaborate with product engineering groups, test equipment vendors, and manufacturing associates to enable lean test processes for transmission and torque converter products, while helping reduce cycle times and maintain quality of test processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experienced in assembly or test operations environment.
• Knowledge of transmission function and hydraulic and electro-hydraulic controls systems.
• Data analysis and logical decision making.
• PC and mainframe system computer skills including Microsoft software applications.
• Strong Interpersonal skills including teamwork, judgment, initiative, dedication, communication.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Familiar with 6 Sigma methalogy.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Test Manufacturing Engineers, with daily production tasks.
• Work with product engineering groups, test equipment vendors and manufacturing associates to enable lean test processes for transmission and torque converter products.
• Strive to reduce test cycle times while maintaining quality and integrity of test processes.
• Develop and improve standard work, safety risk assessments, and work element sheets for the test stands.
