Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering Science, or equivalent laboratory experience.
• 1+ years’ experience in a laboratory environment or related field.
• Experience with force test equipment, load frames, and load cells.
• Familiarity with Python and PLC coding to communicate and control equipment.
• Ability to manage time and workload to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical tests per industry, customer, and internal specs.
• Assemble and adapt mechanisms, fixtures and products using basic tools.
• Operate light manufacturing and shop equipment.
• Work with electronics components such as hook up wire, crimping, soldering, multimeter.
• Use 3D modeling and file export for presentation/manufacturing methods.
• Conduct product evaluation and performance analysis from test data.
