Qualifications

• 12+ years in software QA/testing including 4+ years in test leadership.
• Proficient in test management methodologies: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
• Hands-on with test management and defect-tracking tools (JIRA, QTest, TestRail).
• Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, Rest Assured) and API/functional testing.
• Familiar with CI/CD and version control (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git).
• Strong leadership, communication, and risk assessment skills.
• SQL knowledge for data validation and test data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers across multiple workstreams.
• Define test strategy, plans, and quality metrics.
• Align testing scope with product timelines with stakeholders.
• Oversee planning, execution, and defect management for multiple test types.
• Drive automation adoption to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs and provide risk assessments to leadership.
• Ensure test environments and data are ready for testing.
• Coordinate resource planning, budgets, and offshore/vendor teams as needed.
• Champion governance, compliance, and standardization in QA.
• Lead defect triage and root-cause analysis for critical issues.
