Responsibilities

• Collect information from new Residents for admission.
• Record health data including vitals and temperature.
• Administer medications and injections as needed.
• Treat wounds and bedsores as required.
• May supervise CNAs as assigned.
• Assist Residents with dressing and personal care.
• Monitor intake and output of food and fluids.

Luxor Nursing and Rehabilitation at Mills Pond is actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses to work the 11-7 shift for our Skilled Nursing Facility in St. James, NY.

LPN Openings Include: Part-Time & Full-Time Positions (ALL SHIFTS AVAILABLE!)

DUTIES

• Collecting required information from new Residents to be admitted.
• Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.
• Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed.
• Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
• May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
• Monitors Residents' food and liquid intake and output.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Valid NY State LPN license.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
