Job description

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in the Insurance domain and hands-on experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will lead QA efforts for mission-critical insurance platforms, ensuring high-quality delivery through robust test strategy, execution, and defect management practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of overall QA experience
• 6+ years of experience in mission-critical insurance programs
• Strong domain expertise in insurance platforms such as:
  • Guidewire
  • Duck Creek
  • EIS or similar systems
• Strong experience in:
  • Test planning and test strategy definition
  • Test case design and execution
  • Regression and integration testing
• Hands‑on experience in API testing using tools like Postman
• Strong defect management experience using Jira (Zephyr/Xray or similar test management tools)
• Ability to validate service integrations and backend workflows
• Strong SQL knowledge for data validation (preferred)
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test evidence tools (preferred)

Automation Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with automation frameworks such as:
  • Selenium
  • Cypress
  • Playwright
  • RestAssured

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end QA activities for insurance application testing
• Define and implement test strategy, plans, and regression approach
• Coordinate testing across onshore and offshore QA teams
• Ensure early identification and communication of quality risks
• Manage test execution metrics and reporting
• Drive defect lifecycle management and ensure timely resolution
• Perform API and integration testing across services
• Ensure high‑quality test documentation and reporting
• Own overall quality outcomes and ensure delivery readiness
