Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Test Engineer for Battery Performance Engineering Testing in Santa Clara, CA. The role focuses on testing BMS firmware and battery cyclers, plus Python-based test automation to plot results.

You will work with technicians to execute electrical tests, generate KPIs, review BMU schematics, and run DOEs with high-accuracy equipment. Strong problem solving and independent work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Battery Management System (BMS) firmware, mix of QA & Development.
• Strong programming skills for test automation (Python).
• Experienced in various test tools like battery testers, source meter, multimeter.
• Excellent debugging skills to tackle challenging problems.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Ability to articulate design issues and path to resolution both verbally and with documentation.
• Proven ability to work independently under high pressure in a dynamic environment.

Job description

The Battery Performance Engineering Testing Team at client is looking for a Test Engineer who have experience in testing Battery Firmware Testing (BMS) and Battery Test Cyclers (like Maccor, Newar, Arbin) experience. Also They need to have Python coding experience as plotting scripts from test results are required.
