Job description

Mandatory Skills: Manual testing, qTest, Agile, Python Automation

To develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and objectives in collaboration with project stakeholders to define testing scope, goals, and deliverables.

1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client/team to understand functional/design specifications, highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies, and ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place/kept up to date.
2. To identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies/tools and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
3. To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure.
4. To develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.

Additional requirements:

1. Ability to understand requirements, break down to test scenarios, and prepare test data.
2. Ability to do test planning, execute, and manage defects along with test artifacts collation.
3. Test Automation with Python scripting experience is mandatory.
4. Hands-on experience in testing the ServiceNow application.
5. Automated Test Framework knowledge is a plus.
6. Must have extensive experience with Jira and QTest for test and defect management.
7. Should have knowledge or experience in API Testing using Postman.
8. Strong SQL knowledge to test the database is a must.
9. Must be able to interface directly with customers and work with the offshore team; strong communication skills are a must.
