Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for testing/manufacturing environments.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, prints, schematics, or technical docs.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate test setups and data collection.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tests.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools to inspect and verify dimensions.
• Basic understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing concepts for parts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and clear communication with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain performance tests to support customer requirements and product qualification activities.
• Install seals, shafts, bore plates, test heads, and other test hardware for accurate testing conditions.
• Configure test parameters including oil levels, shaft speeds, temperatures, pressures, and machine offsets.
• Collect, record, and analyze test data via DAQ systems and laboratory documentation processes.
• Perform precise measurements of seals, components, and test hardware using measurement instruments.
• Calibrate lab equipment and maintain test systems for reliable results.
• Support lab operations by troubleshooting equipment, installing supporting systems, ordering supplies, and keeping a clean workspace.
