Job summary

Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies in Northfield, NH is seeking a Test Lab Technician to support component and product performance testing in our on-site lab. You will install test hardware, configure parameters, and collect data to ensure accurate qualification activities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude for testing or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, prints, or schematics.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate test setups and data collection.
• Excellent organizational and time management to handle multiple tests.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools to inspect parts.
• Basic understanding of dimensioning concepts and tolerances.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and clear communication with teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain component and product performance tests to support customer requirements and product qualification activities.
• Install seals, shafts, bore plates, test heads, and other test hardware to ensure accurate and repeatable testing conditions.
• Configure and adjust test parameters including oil levels, shaft speeds, temperatures, pressures, and machine offsets.
• Collect, record, and analyze test data through data acquisition (DAQ) systems, oil sampling, and laboratory documentation processes.
• Perform precise measurements of seals, components, and test hardware using a variety of measuring instruments.
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain test systems to ensure reliable and accurate results.
• Support overall lab operations by troubleshooting equipment, installing supporting systems such as pumps and fans, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
