Job summary

RAVE Aerospace LLC in the United States is seeking a Test Lab Technician I to support the Rack Room operations under limited supervision. You will troubleshoot and repair in the test lab, assist in creating and updating drawings, and help assemble test fixtures.

The role involves loading software onto racks, maintaining hardware inventory, and supporting day-to-day lab operations with a hands-on approach to electromechanical assemblies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience as an engineering lab technician or related.
• Capable of building cables and electromechanical assemblies.
• Broad knowledge of electronic and electromechanical components.
• Knowledgeable in the use of lab instruments (multimeter, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, create, and update engineering drawings for cables and system layouts.
• Create wiring harnesses/assemblies from engineering drawings.
• Assemble and maintain test racks and mini racks.
• Load software and configuration onto test racks and mini racks.
• Troubleshoot test rack and mini rack issues including miswiring and software load issues.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of lab hardware and assets.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
