Job summary

RAVE Aerospace is seeking a Test Lab Technician I to work in the System Test Lab (Rack Room) in the United States. You will troubleshoot and repair lab equipment, create and update engineering drawings, and assemble test fixtures and racks for testing.

The role involves loading software, configuring test racks, and maintaining lab inventory while supporting day-to-day Rack Room operations under limited supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-3 years of experience in engineering lab tech or related work.
• Ability to build cables and electromechanical assemblies.
• Familiarity with lab instruments (e.g., multimeters) and basic OS knowledge (Windows/Linux).

Responsibilities

• Interpret, create, and update engineering drawings for cables and system layouts.
• Create wiring harnesses/assemblies from engineering drawings.
• Assemble and maintain new test racks and mini racks.
• Load software and configuration onto test racks and mini racks.
• Troubleshoot test rack and mini rack issues including physical connections, miswiring, software load issues and software configuration issues.
• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of lab hardware and assets.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
